About this Speaker
After a 15-year NCAA soccer coaching career that included time working at each of the three NCAA divisions, Sarah shifted her focus to youth development. As a result of her travel for soccer, within the US and abroad, it became clear that the barriers still faced by girls and women to participate in sports can be significant. It is from these experiences that the idea for the Sports Bra Project was born.
Sarah Dwyer-Shick earned her bachelor’s degree from Smith College and master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Denver. She holds a USSF National Youth license, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National & Advanced National Goalkeeping diplomas and is CSCS certified by the NSCA.
